Free printable activities for 3 and 4 year olds
Toddlers and preschoolers learn through their hands. At three and four, the work is pre-writing — drawing straight lines, curves, zig-zags, and circles — plus color recognition, basic shape sorting, and one-to-one matching.
The best printables at this age are big, bold, and finishable in two or three minutes. Think chunky-outline coloring pages, dot-to-dot up to 10, simple matching games (cat goes with kitten), and giant-corridor mazes that don't punish a wandering crayon.
Skip anything with small text or multi-step instructions — they can't read yet, and the goal isn't accuracy. It's confidence with a crayon and time spent on a page that feels like play.
