Elementary science is about noticing the world and labeling what you notice. The printables here cover the classic units kids meet in school — life cycles (butterfly, frog, plant), weather and the water cycle, parts of a plant and a flower, the solar system, the human body, simple machines, and habitats and food chains.

Most pages combine a labeled diagram with a few comprehension or fill-in-the-blank questions. They're a great companion to a library book or a backyard observation: read, label, draw, write one sentence about what you saw. Print one a week and you've got a year of casual science at home.
